We designed Gary's new bike to be an all purpose road racer that was also capable of carving (horse) trails and fire roads. Gary loves traditional styling so he opted for hand sculpted lugged construction and curved forks. The frame is built using a light but tough blend of Dedacciai, Columbus, and Reynolds steel. Gary also had me hand build a beautiful set of wheels using vintage Ambrosio pave rims so he could run fat tubular tires. We are talking super plush. I am very, very stoked on the bike. I gave it its first real ride on Monday, up Tam, Hoo-Koo-E-Koo and Railroad Grade. It rides GREAT in the dirt, and gets much better traction- even out of the saddle- then any other bike I have had. Coming down Tam on Panoramic was a real revelation... The bike has an even responsiveness and an unshakable stability that inspire confidence. I felt like I was getting egged on to go faster!

The next day I took it out on the morning ride and it seemed just as at home on a fast group ride. Again, I felt a lot better about cornering.
