January 27 2010 - I am very proud to offer a new Steelman frame model: the 25th Anniversary Special Edition. The project has been percolating for the last three years, but I have been reluctant to give it the official launch.

To commemorate 25 years hand building custom bicycles I will build 25 very special frames. What sets the "25th" apart from the other frames I build? Simply put, it is labor, with a level of artistry and attention to detail fitting of such a commemoration. Extra time taken to work the lugs, dropouts, and fork.

Each frame will be different: a joint effort between you the customer and me the craftsman. Extra effort goes into lug selection, shaping, and finishing, with detail work so clean you hate to cover it with paint. The paint is special too with each frame painted by Joe Bell to his highest finish standard.

I will offer the 25th Anniversary frames till the end of 2010 or when 25 are sold whichever comes first. The price for the frame, fork, and stem, is $5000. Each order of course includes a personal fitting and consultation at our shop.
